Description

This is a comprehensive guidebook describing the sport climbing found around the Cordillera Cantabrica region of north-west Spain, which extends from Gijon on the north coast to the city of Leon. The guidebook is split into 4 main areas, these being; The Leon area; The Trubia Valley around Entrgo; Asturias Centro near Oviedo; and the Picos de Europe Valley.

The guidebook covers 320 sectors at 54 main crags including Teverga, Quiros, Pelugano, Valdehuesa and Valle de Pedrosa, which are some of the larger crags in this area. In total more than 4,000 routes are described across a wide range of grades.

At the start of each crag there is a location map, a description of the style and character of the climbing to be found, and the best time to climb. Symbols indicate when the sector is in the sun or shade, its orientation, and how far the walk-in is. GPS coordinates are given for the parking areas.
